Mediocre at Best

Liked: The property was near the other destinations we wanted to travel to. The suite we booked had plenty of room. The hotel had a pool.
Disliked: The lobby, breakfast area, and hallways didn’t have air conditioning. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly - they also didn’t keep the complimentary coffee or cookies stocked. The elevator was rickety and the light was mostly out. Breakfast was mediocre. There was only 1 cart to use to transport luggage.

Good stay, I will stay...

Liked: Good selection of offerings. I was told that they only have chicken sausage instead of pork sausage. They have pancakes and eggs and other breads and bakery. The staff were very easy to talk to and solve problems. The hotel was equipped with a guest laundry. It was up on the fourth floor and it took change only. You have to provide your own soap and softener and dryer sheets. The pool was very enjoyable and the hottub was relaxing, but would have been great if the bubbler was working. No free water or snacks. Everything cost money, and not a little. $3.00 for a bottle of plain water is excessive.
Disliked: Water bottle for $3.00 and any snacks and beverages cost even more. Hotel elevator needed repairs. Doors shut slowly and didn't shut all the way until they banged shut. Difficult to locate. Once found much easier to come back to from your outings. Good drive to find a decent sit down dining room.

Pros and Cons

Liked: Easy booking, and check in was a breeze. Affordable pricing. Good breakfast, many items to choose from. Good shower, water pressure. Pool available. Easy access to interstate 35E, & 494. Also convenient to shopping areas, and food and gas. Love the area, close to family. Quiet place. 4th of July weekend, so a great fireworks display nearby. Will definitely book again.
Disliked: Looked old, maybe update a little, old carpet. Common lobby area was very hot, n muggy. We had a1st floor room. Bthroom door wouldnt stay open, kind of tight for a family of 4, no where to hang towels anywhere in bathroom. Tv was glitchy most of the time. Hot tub wasn't working or turned on, looked dirty and unwelcoming. Pool was good. Seen a ginormous spider in the bathroom in our room! Didn't take a picture, but should have. There was like a 1 inch space on the bottem of door to floor. The spider was definitely over an inch wide. Scary, wasn't comfortable after seeing that. Beds too soft and squeaky. Im used to a firmer mattress. Kids were ok with everything. But they're kids! I would definitely book again, but maybe up a cpl floors up will be better,, as far as spiders go!
