Liked: The closeness to the interstate and having a good Mexican restaurant next door
Disliked: The toilet in our room was way too low and very uncomfortable to use. The shower did have a hair in it otherwise the room was very good and this was the second time we stayed there. We will probably stay there again on our next trip going through Charleston.

Disliked: I had to call out to get someone to the front desk.The elevator was small and slow.The hallway on second floor was hot.No thermostat or fan control on heat and air unit.No smart TV so I could use streaming services.Breakfast served at 7am instead of 6am like most.Not worth the price.

Good place to stay despite...

Liked: The people who work the desk are great. We always have good interactions with them. The breakfast is ok which is not bad. The bacon could be a lot crisper considering it does not have any firmness at all. The location is great for staying just off of I-64. Parking can be difficult on busy nights. A lot of moving trucks/trailers take up 2-3 spots each and the parking lot is full. All in all, it is a good place to stay even given the small stuff.
Disliked: The toilet runs constantly after each flush, rm 221. Maintenance would stop it from running but not test it with a flush. I know this because every single time it is flushed, EVERY time, it will not fill and stop. It will stop by turning the water off/on. Off/on is what we had to do every time we used the bathroom. Then it fills correctly. Then flush it again and you must repeat the off/on for it to fill and stop. The water pipe vibrates constantly with the water on. The pump in the toilet is not holding the water pressure constant.There was a bigger issue this stay. Housekeepingwas cleaning rooms one morning. We were going down to breakfast. We opened the door and tripped over a bag of trash right in front of the door. Luckily, neither of us were hurt.We have stayed here 4 or 5 times and every time something like this happens. It is never anything big, except the trash bag, but there is always something. The little things matter just as much as the big things. Please remember that.
