Frustrating, with staff needing a...

Liked: The hotel had nice common spaces, good breakfast and cookies all day.
Disliked: The housekeeping cart banged into our wall EVERY morning starting at 7am and continued off and on for at least 1/2 hour. We were on vacation not planning to rise early every day. We received a text upon arrival that housekeeping services would be every 3rd day. NOPE, you have to request housekeeping. Nowhere in the room, near the front desk, or on my booking information did it say that. When I spoke with front desk they acted like it my fault for not knowing and said “we don’t control the texts”. And the garbage in the hall outside our door every morning and night was very smelly. Our daughter just moved to Portland and we had hoped that Country Inn would be our hub when visiting her, I am not so sure that we will rebook after this experience.
