Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Dearborn MI

I picked the hotel based upon it's distance from the Ford Community Performing Arts Center and the pricing. Late evening check in, the lady on duty, whose name I forgot to jot down, was friendly and very courteous. She provided a run down on the amenities of the hotel. Room was clean - everything in it's place. At check out next morning I was greeted by Ashley Jones with "How was your stay, did we exceed your expectations and what was the best part of your stay?". She was very personable and professional.

Ick! If you value hygiene...

Liked: We were visiting the Henry Ford museum. The proximity was good. The girl at check in was very friendly. We also asked for some extra towels and got those as well. The room was quite large and plenty of room for the 4 of us.
Disliked: This hotel was terrible. It was so dirty and in need of major TLC. We should have known when we stepped into the elevator to head to our room and the floor was disgusting. It steadily went downhill from there. The carpet in the hallways was stained and wrinkled and littered with trash and debris. Our room was also disgusting. The shower curtain and drapes were shredded in places. There was a can light above the shower that looked like it might fall at any minute and possibly electrocute us. The sink had a wooden shim to prop up the sink basin. The towels were stained. We didn't even bother with eating the free breakfast because we were afraid the same "cleaning" people were preparing the breakfast.

Liked: Big rooms. Clean and big laundry room.
Disliked: The room smelled strange, old, musty. Carpet with stains. Poor cleaning, dirty grout in the bathroom. We couldn't use the pool because a layer of something was floating on top.

Good

Liked: Ok for the price.
Disliked: Dirty elevator, carpet smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Pot holes in the parking lot.

Disliked: It’s not clean, you have to request everything even towels. Very loud you can hear the people next to you and above you

Liked: Nice property til u get on the floors the carpet and smell in the hallways are not good
Disliked: The first 2 rooms we got was dirty and not clean… the last room was way better it was clean
