Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Dearborn MI

I picked the hotel based upon it's distance from the Ford Community Performing Arts Center and the pricing. Late evening check in, the lady on duty, whose name I forgot to jot down, was friendly and very courteous. She provided a run down on the amenities of the hotel. Room was clean - everything in it's place. At check out next morning I was greeted by Ashley Jones with "How was your stay, did we exceed your expectations and what was the best part of your stay?". She was very personable and professional.

Liked: Staff was amiable. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Carpets and stairs were dirty. Pool was dirty-no kidding: cloudy. They never replenished towels. I didn't have shampoo to start with so I couldn't wash my hair. We had a dissatisfied customer Friday night. When I called, I got put on hold and they never picked back up. Had to call back to request shampoo and washcloths: was told to come down and get it. Dissatisfied customer still there, couldn't talk, and there was a back-up of 6 new customers.

Liked: The hotel was fine to stay overnight for our mother's funeral.
Disliked: When we came out to our car, there was grass blown all over the back of it. It was not good especially for the funeral procession. Also after cleaning off the grass, there was a dent in our trunk where maybe a mower threw an object against it.
