Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Dearborn MI

I picked the hotel based upon it's distance from the Ford Community Performing Arts Center and the pricing. Late evening check in, the lady on duty, whose name I forgot to jot down, was friendly and very courteous. She provided a run down on the amenities of the hotel. Room was clean - everything in it's place. At check out next morning I was greeted by Ashley Jones with "How was your stay, did we exceed your expectations and what was the best part of your stay?". She was very personable and professional.

No working door locks or...

Liked: Some nice staff
Disliked: No hot water or working door locks, unsafe. Had a fire hazard from a previous fire in the microwave. Room smelled like body odor.

This hotel was not safe...

Liked: Most of the staff was very kind when they learned we were there for a funeral.
Disliked: I had two rooms. Room 406 did not have a working dead bolt or safety/security latch which had been broken off, microwave had burn marks and a hole melted in the door from a fire inside, refrigerator would not stay closed, dresser drawers would not stay closed, bathrooms smelled like body odor. Room 406 had no hot water the entire stay despite 4 notifications to staff. One staff member told me it was my fault.

Value for money stay, older...

Liked: Handy to everything we had on our schedule. Large room with nice bathroom. The snack shop was a great touch at reception.
Disliked: Bed was comfy but pillows were terrible. Had to request more. Room wasn’t serviced unless asked.

Liked: Location was convenient to where we were going & close to restaurants & shops
