Hard Times Have Fallen

Liked: The location is excellent
Disliked: This hotel has definitely fallen on hard times since my last stay back in the fall. The windows were filthy, curtains ripped and should have been replaced prior to offering this room; the vents on the AC unit were completely missing and the toilet seat was broken. The bed for the pullout sofa was full of crumbs and the chair and carpet each had very noticeable stains. This was a 2 night stay for us and we didn't notice many of the issues until late on the first evening other than the broken AC vent and torn curtain. We spoke with the manager the next day and were offered a sufficient price adjustment but then she offended us by stating that the maid was newer and we should offer her "grace". We didn't even speak with the maid, only the front desk staff. Again, we appreciate the discount but this was likely our last stay at that location

Disliked: The room was not clean, I had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom. I wouldn’t take shoes off to walk in the room. The only thing was done was blankets were changed.
