The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel and our room was very clean. Free internet and breakfast is always a bonus. Family loved the complimentary cookies and coffee! Would definitely refer this hotel and stay again. Thank you!

Not hotel's fault, but taxi cabs are the worst - VERY expensive and will drive around for more money and not stop when you tell them to.

Liked: Hotel was great - will be back again.

The trip to this country...

Liked: The convenience right out the highway was a delight in the quietness.
Disliked: We recently stayed at the Country Inn while in town for a funeral. Typically, when you’re traveling—even for somber reasons—the hotel experience is a small reprieve: a place of rest where professionalism and hospitality should make you feel cared for. Unfortunately, this hotel missed the mark in several ways, and honestly, some things need to change if you’re going to ask guests to pay nearly $250 per night. When we first entered our room, we were hit by a foul, lingering stench—so strong that I immediately called the front desk. To their credit, they were quick to respond and moved us to another room without hesitation. That said, the fact that they seemed to know exactly what kind of room they initially gave us is troubling in itself. The second room was better—or at least more tolerable—but still not up to the standards one would expect at that price point.I had to sanitize surfaces myself. There were visible smudges around the doorway, dust on the bed covers, on the furniture, the refrigerator trim, and even the TV. The curtains and privacy sheers clearly hadn’t been touched in some time. The room felt neglected, like it hadn’t been properly cleaned or inspected in weeks. The staff interaction, while somewhat polite, felt off. Attempts at friendliness were overshadowed by unprofessional behavior—one employee even referred to my husband using a nickname and a winking emoji gesture, which was not only inappropriate but borderline disrespectful. Staff training, particularly in customer service and professionalism, is clearly needed here. Hospitality should be welcoming, not performative or patronizing. The overpowering smell of the disinfectant used throughout the hotel made things worse, not better. It didn’t smell clean—it smelled like an attempt to mask a deeper issue. Also, if breakfast is being touted as part of the room package, it should be edible. What we were served was over-salted, had little variety, and lacked quality.
