Absolutely beautiful view of the lake!

This hotel is very clean and quiet, located in a beautiful place along the lake and super convenient, just steps away from the Sanford Centre. We enjoyed our stay very much. There are no restaurants or conveniences within walking distance though, which might be an inconvenience for some people.

Disliked: Was very upset about their dog rate. They charged $80 to have one small dog stay one night. My dog does not bark or make any noise, but yet paid $80 to listen to a rowdy group come into the hotel at 2:30 am and another at 4:45am.

Worst Stay.....find another place unless...

Liked: I never write reviews....but feel so strongly about this hotel, I'm hoping someone will listen. The only thing I liked was the location, very easy to get to and the view of the lake is stunning. Honestly, so many dislikes........read on!
Disliked: The room was dirty. The floor, behind furniture and splatters of something all over the walls. I know this hotel is connect to the ice arena and probably has a lot of partiers, but this is not ok. Also, we were woken up several times by wild loud voices, stomping, etc. When we talked to the front desk it was clear this happens all the time and it wasn't a big deal to them. It was a huge deal to us. We have 2 special needs kids and all of us were up at 3am. Also, breakfast was the worst I've had in a hotel in a long time. No cooked eggs of any kind, all carbs. It was so below my expectations. We stay at hotels all the time, and I don't consider us picky.....but this was easily one of our worst hotel stays. Really did not meet Country Inn and Suites usual quality.
