Liked: Very good value for money

Always very happy to stay...

Liked: Location excellent. Grounds lovely with many flowers, outdoor sitting. There is a paved pedestrian and bike path just around the corner and off the main road where I have taken short walks. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Free parking! Very nice pool area although we did not use the pool. Breakfast used to be more substantial with healthier options. However we understand that everyone has had to cut back due to increased expenses and we really are not breakfast people anyway- happy with the coffee and apples. Plenty of places to eat near by and with a full kitchen it is easy to prepare breakfast as well.
Disliked: Nothing we did not like.

Liked: Cozy stay, friendly staff, clean rooms, great parking
Disliked: The walls were a little thin— I could hear the tv playing as well as mumbles of conversation in the room next door

Liked: Privately owned motel in Palo Alto on El Camino Real between San Francisco and San Jose, yet quiet and safe with a pool area. Shopping and restaurants nearby. A very friendly motel manager. A good base for exploring the Bay Area.
