Overall totally worth the money.

Liked: It was extremely clean. You could tell the room had been cleaned recently as it smelled fresh. It's a quaint little motel. Kiiiiiind of Bates-y in vibe but once you get past that it was a great value for the stay. (I was hesitant to get in the shower due to an overactive imagination). The Inn keeper was very kind though I had to call the phone number on the door to get into the office. It was rather quiet, I couldn't hear the guests next to me at all unless they were standing out in front of the rooms. I didn't notice a breakfast when I came to return my key, then again, I didn't notice anybody and the office door was locked. They still had old style motel keys with the iconic Keychain vs a card. As an aside, I heard the car rally I was there to watch will be having some stages near Licking next year so you may see an uptick in guests around this time in 2025.
Disliked: There was no signage out front to let you know where exactly you're going; I passed right by it initially. The bed was a little firm for my taste but I know many people enjoy a firmer mattress. As a not super strong female, I was nervous staying there by myself so I didn't sleep great (that's on me). The heater/AC turned on and off around every 20 minutes and that didn't help because it was loud (but there's not a lot they can do about that). I wish there was just one more lock on the door for additional security but, again, that's due to my superiorly overactive imagination.
