Liked: It was clean and relaxing, the rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable, really good shower
Disliked: We were woken at 3am by the fire alarm and had to evacuate our room, there was no direction or communication from the staff, we gathered in the reception area where we were all left to our own devices. There still hasn’t been any explanation or communication from Country Club Tasmania. There is no fire evacuation plan shown in the rooms, for all we knew we could have been running towards the fire, no head count or roll call was made and we weren’t told that the danger had passed and it was safe to go back to our rooms. It was very disorganised.The staff in the casino and food areas aren’t very friendly.For parking you have to park in the public car park which is the other side of the accommodation area, so you can’t see your car from your room and it’s not a secure car park.

Liked: Good location. Staff are very helpful.
Disliked: Fire alarm in the middle of the night. There was no assistance from staff or checking to see if all the occupants were safe etc. People just stood around waiting for any information to be passed onto them.
