Liked: Spacious
Disliked: Service in the bar was extremely slow waiting at least 8 minutes to see a member of staff.When we finally got our food the waitress didn’t bring any cutlery - really!!

A bit disappointing

Liked: The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable The location was near a Mobberley venue where we were due to attend a family wedding There's a very pleasant garden centre, shop and cafe next door
Disliked: We stayed 2 nights late June On arrival we booked both days' breakfast at 8am with reception but the breakfast staff had no record of us - though they did serve us Both mornings we were served tea without milk or sugar and had to go asking for it Tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom but no milk Noone had told us that you have to walk down the far end of the corridor to a dispensing machine and carry the milk back to the room in an open bottle To be honest, it didn't seem that organised, and we did wonder whether the establishment is more interested in its corporate clients than individuals Also be warned- though not the hotel's fault of course- you're right under a flight path from Manchester Ringway and on the Thursday afternoon, low aircraft were every 5 minutes

Good

Liked: Hotel was very pleasant and welcoming. Lovely food and service by the staff
Disliked: The constant banging of doors throughout the night and early morning. Maybe signs to ask guest's to be mindful of allowing doors to slam as some guest's are overnight stays and not early morning flyers

Superb

Liked: Excellent food friendly staff comfy beds
Disliked: Could do with an upgrade on bathroom facilities very dated and sealant mouldy which let's the overall experience down as everything else was very good

Bit dated and expensive.

Liked: Good location and room was ok, bit dark and dated.
Disliked: Had to pay a lot extra for spa facilities, and the £70 fish and chips meal we had left us both unwell. A lot of aircraft noise too.

Exceptional

Liked: My wife and I stayed here for our wedding night. Many of our wedding guests also stayed at the hotel. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are very helpful. The spa can be busy at times but it's a great extra! At breakfast staff made arrangements so many of the guests from the day could sit together. The breakfast is great! The hotel also left us a congratulations platter in our room for our arrival.Overall very impressed and we will definitely go back!
Disliked: Spa can be busy at times.

Liked: Cottons is just an awesome hotel and facilities are abundant.
Disliked: Must add that the pool was full of screaming children at 3pm during term time and this let the facilities down as we picked term time to avoid them and on just this occasion, they were so many all competing for the most cell consuming g shrill and screams.
