Cottage Lodge Hotel is set in the Victorian village of Brockenhurst nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park. This charming 17th-century residence offers cozy rooms as well as tea coffee and cake on arrival. Cottage Lodge Hotel is a friendly eco-chic family-run property offering 16 comfortable hotel-style bedrooms. All of the rooms have suite facilities with a bath or a shower. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities Smart TVs and hairdryers. Irons are available on request. Parts of the building date back to 1650 and still feature beautiful period features such as original wooden beams handmade bricks and ship timbers. The lodge's rich history means it has a wealth of character and original charm. Reception closes for check-in at 20:00. The village of Brockenhurst has 3 pubs 7 restaurants a train station a petrol station and various shops. The lodge is just 4 minutes' walk from open forest but if you prefer to explore on horseback or by bike horse riding and bicycle hire are available in the village.

Good spot from which to...

Liked: Good situation- walking distance from station and into the New Forest. Quiet room, looking onto inner courtyard. Good breakfasts - and wonderful dinners, provided by White Tails restaurant.
Disliked: Would have appreciated softer pillows and quieter fan in bathroom.

Jackie and her team were...

Liked: The cooked breakfast was great quality and plentiful. The porridge was jumbo oats,( proper porridge ) with bed fries and fresh youghurt.
Disliked: Nothing.

Comfortable, quirky and will definitely...

Liked: We loved everything, so many little details that made it special, like the allocated parking, honesty bar, tea and cake on arrival, the room was quirky, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lovely staff including the very nice man at breakfast. Great central location too

Lovely place, would definitely stay...

Liked: Very well run, staff were really nice, breakfast was amazing, would definitely stay again.
Disliked: It was a warm night, but the downstairs room seemed exceptionally hot, only one window that opened to a courtyard, so was unable to leave open for security, otherwise lovely room, and we appreciate the owners can’t control the weather, a fan was supplied.
