Cottage Lodge Hotel is set in the Victorian village of Brockenhurst nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park. This charming 17th-century residence offers cozy rooms as well as tea coffee and cake on arrival. Cottage Lodge Hotel is a friendly eco-chic family-run property offering 16 comfortable hotel-style bedrooms. All of the rooms have suite facilities with a bath or a shower. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities Smart TVs and hairdryers. Irons are available on request. Parts of the building date back to 1650 and still feature beautiful period features such as original wooden beams handmade bricks and ship timbers. The lodge's rich history means it has a wealth of character and original charm. Reception closes for check-in at 20:00. The village of Brockenhurst has 3 pubs 7 restaurants a train station a petrol station and various shops. The lodge is just 4 minutes' walk from open forest but if you prefer to explore on horseback or by bike horse riding and bicycle hire are available in the village.

Great break in a jewel...

Liked: Bearing in mind it was a very last minute booking everything was superb. Host was welcoming knowledgeable about the area and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Will return but hopefully in a larger room.

Liked: The manager of Cottage Lodge was exceptional. His recommendations around things to do, restaurants to visit in the area etc were excellent. The breakfast was incredible! Our room was very comfortable, clean and private.

Average for the money paid....

Liked: Location very easy to find and well situated. Friendly and pleasant welcome. Breakfast wholesome and delicious.
Disliked: I didn’t like my full name advertising my parking space, that might possibly breach data privacy laws, or when parked remove the names (just a thought). My neighbouring apartment walked through my outside space. Wardrobe in the bathroom, would prefer my fresh clean clothes remain away from toileting area. No drinking water in the room. Room bland and slightly uninspiring
