Liked: Views over the lake
Disliked: Cobwebs and bugs everywhere, rooms not cleaned well at all, extremely slow check in, lack of signs to car park areas, hotel is stupidly big so kept getting lost, drinks prices at the bar are ridiculous! Room walls too thin, could hear other guests. Bed was far too soft, would have slept better in my car. Not enough parking!

Liked: Good selection of food for breakfast and very pleasant dining area with view of lake. Spacious reception area and bar, as well as outdoor decor (bronze deer statues) create a sense of elegance and luxury. Mistakes with booking (via booking.com) were efficiently compensated and sorted out by senior staff. Some problems with room were quickly fixed.
Disliked: Spa facilities are over-priced and create major limitations on access to pool, sauna etc. Lake walk is ok but river is lacking any wildlife - area generally still not "naturalised" despite many years of development.

Liked: Everything really.. the Location, our room with the Lakeside view was spectacular.
Disliked: Either I couldn’t locate or there was none, but no air con in the rooms. Our visit was during a heatwave so the room was boiling. Absolutely not a complaint though whatsoever.

Liked: Pretty good breakfast and location.
Disliked: Very basic room and didn’t seem to be cleaned prior to our check in. Had lots of bugs and spiders in the room and the paint was rubbed off the wall. It was also hard finding our room as it was joined with others, the room number was very small on the door.
