Liked: Nice safe location. Polite concierge. High ceilings.
Disliked: Room was very small, couldn't turn off electric towel rail, room was very hot the night we stayed, could do with a bed sheet as well as duvet. Limited space even to put suitcase, no wardrobe..Rain shower lacked water pressure in the morning.

Liked: Room was lovely and comfortable, Plenty of tea and coffee, shampoo etc.
Disliked: The room was a little dark being on the lower floor, but fine with the light on and didn't bother me. Definitely would stay again.

Disliked: I’m glad I was travelling light - I was on the top floor quite a trek up the stairs- I did only book the day before so no problem for me

Disliked: There is no aircon or a fan. The room was stifling which made it almost impossible to sleep

Disliked: i would have been happier with an evening meal but i knew that when i booked.As a single elderly lady travelling alone i was too tired after a long,hot drive .i was too tired to go looking for a restaurant

Good enough for one night...

Liked: Nice, quiet and convenient location. Car parking.
Disliked: Room was very small and in the basement with small window. We found it quite claustrophobic. It was advertised as a small double to be fair, but we would recommend to book another room type at this hotel.

Mediocre

Liked: Comfortable bed, modern clean bathroom, parking available and a good cooked breakfast. The staff were very friendly too and happily provided an iron and ironing board on request.
Disliked: The hotel was quite dated and looks better on the photos than in real life. Unfortunately the dog in the next door property was barking quite a lot, so despite it being in a quiet area, the barking was noisy. There was a used plaster stuck to the carpet in our bedroom, which left us feeling as though the place was a bit dirty and perhaps hadn't been cleaned very well. There was also no full length mirror and we were due to go to a funeral, so that would've been handy to make sure we were presentable. The cooked breakfast options were good, but not much of a choice laid out on the buffet table, only toast and a choice of two jams which were cheap jelly like jams.
