Great stay in Turnhout at...

Liked: Comfort, breakfast, attention to detail, welcome
Disliked: The hotel policy feels very intrusive. Even though the hotel had my passport data and my credit card data from a previous stay, they asked for it again and when I checked in they also asked my wife to provide her identity and copied her data in the system. Made us feel awkward, and this is what you get for paying 200 euros per night … I would expect more courtesy, trust and respect at this level especially if you are a returning customer.

Disliked: Beds were a little uncomfortable, the A/C wasn't very effective on the second day of our stay so we ended up sleeping with the window open instead of with the a/c

beds are bad.

Liked: Clean spacious junior suite, great breakfast and friendly staff
Disliked: the beds where really bad, too soft and it was a split bed with a sortof unified thin matrass on top. It was so soft or overused I kept falling off. Also the legs of the begs weren't clamped together so they would separate at a hair's breath and you would end up sleeping in the valley in the middle. I haven't seen that in ages. Woke up with a bad back. Location is overlooking a mall and isn't great for views or general feel.
