The food is good, if...

Liked: The food was very good & well presented. The waiting staff were all very pleasant.
Disliked: The room was dirty. Cobwebs in the bathroom & corners of the room. Carpet had not been vacuumed properly. Dead bugs & debris on the window sill. Hair in an old brush on the dressing table. Generally tired & worn out.

Exceptional

Liked: We had an absolutely lovely couple of days and will definitely return. The bistro menu was perfect for us and excellent value for money.What a treat!

A superb hotel , with...

Liked: Breakfast was very good , freshly lcooked , with full waiting service . Each course brought straight to table .Although the building is not modern , everywhere was warm . The bed was comfortable and the staff welcoming.

Wonderful pre-Christmas stay

Liked: Really comfortable and relaxed. The food was delicious. Very easy with our two dogs.

Liked: The area was great, free parking. Breakfast was good. The toiletries were good quality. Nice to have fresh ground coffee in room, with homemade shortbread.
Disliked: The photos are dated. The roof over the outdoor pool was green with lichen . The room, though large had furniture with cup rings on the top. Couldn't plug hairdryer near to mirror.
