Liked: Lovely room,traffic noise was loud,had to keep bedroom,bathroom windows closed still noisy but expected on main road to city centre,have stayed there 3 times previously so know what to expect.x

Liked: Friendly and efficient staff. Bus stops outside or around corner. Room overlooking car park was much quieter for traffic noise. Ideal location for visiting family.
Disliked: Room 7 window in the bathroom was a bit awkward to open or set to ventilation. Window in bedroom was modified not to open.

Better than expected

Liked: I don't normally choose a public house to stay in but glad I did. The room was extremely clean and fresh with all facilities required. Happy with my visit and will definitely book again.
Disliked: The traffic noise was a little worrying being on a major route....until I found another window panel to slide across and dull the sound.

Liked: Perfect hotel/pub we have stayed here 4 times now ,and still as good as the first time ,clean rooms excellent staff nothing was too mutch trouble we wanted a certain room and asked before we booked and we got what we asked for ,breakfast is all freshly cooked to order ,hotel is just outside city centre 5 mins on the bus that stops outside the pub
