Great location, place and staff

Liked: Met by Logan who signed me and showed me to my room. Karen and Simon the landlord and land lady were lovely. Room fantastic and extremely clean. Paul cooks a great breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing

great 1st class

Liked: great 2 nights stay the food was excellent the breakfast was great value the staff were lovely and friendly and good private parking at rear room lovely and warm with heating on before we arrived in all 1st class capital.
Disliked: because my partner is partially sighted it's a pity there isn't a lift but was assisted up stairs with luggage thanks for that.

Liked: Good value friendly staff. Easy to find. Free parking on site. Bed was comfortable tea,coffee facilities in room . Free WiFi..Room neutral colours ,ensuite practical.
Disliked: Room had street light shining right in should have had blackout curtains to keep light out. Room was very warm but opening the window let in traffic noise from a very busy road.

Liked: Friendly staff, the hotel was quiet, which was what we wanted.
Disliked: Breakfast: asked for white and brown bread, just got brown, asked for scrambled egg, and got fried eggs, no sugar on the table.The room was quite cold right side lamp besided bed not working.Hotel owners never spoke.

Liked: secured parking in the rear of the hotel
Disliked: It was a smaller room than expected, as displayed on booking.com. The few fuses there are hidden behind furniture. The en suite bathroom was also tiny, and there was a water leakage (from the shower?) displayed from underneath the top layer of the bathroom floor.We knew that the rooms would be on top of a pub. We did, however, not expect to be up all night due to loud music, etc. It only stopped at 1.00 on Sunday morning.

A lovely, quiet stay and...

Liked: Perfectly positioned following my game over Carnoustie Championship. Staff were very helpful and the hotel and room were very clean.
Disliked: If there was a gripe it would be that the shower cubicle was on the tight side and weighing in at 92kilos I wouldn’t say I was large.
