Corio Bay Motel

We have stayed here before...

Liked: The location was very handy 4 us.
Disliked: Our room smelt like cigarettes. Carpet had blood stains and the shower leaked really bad!

It was good to stay...

Liked: The shower was very good, as well as the heater

Nearly didn’t book there because...

Liked: Location was perfect for my needs …. Price was ok…. Car in front of the door…. Clean enough… good bed ….good shower….. good heater …. Worked well for me…..👍

Exceptional

Retro accommodation at its best.

Liked: Corio Bay Motel is very old and because of that is pretty dated and somewhat "worn" meaning the bathroom is old time but perfectly functional.The bed was very comfortable and the air con was great. Worked well and as it was winter kept the room warm.
Disliked: Corio Bay Motel existed in the 1960s. I stayed there as a child. Take this into account in relation to expectations and cost. There was nothing not to like as far as I was concerned.

Was ok a quick spot...

Liked: I liked that it was on the airport side of town, as we landed late and just needed a place to sleep for the night. They were kind enough to leave the key out for me as I was going to be late to check in.
Disliked: The bed wasn't very comfortable, someone had punched a door, it needs to be renovated as things were broken. The toilet kept running. It was freezing cold in the bathroom.

Liked: Location to the gmhba statium
Disliked: The amount of dust build up around the base boards the hole in the wall behind the bed, the dirty shower curtain

Never again to stay there

Disliked: There was no breakfast and room was dirty
