Exceptional
Liked: Very helpful staff, great breakfast. It was a 20 minute metro ride to city center which ended up to be a good thing as Amsterdam is a very busy and congested city so was good to unwind in a more mellow area.

Liked: Location was ideal to catch the tram into town and other local areas. The bed was comfortable and rooms spacious.
Disliked: Any issues reported to staff was not taken seriously and they didn't really do anything about it including tvs being down for 3 days (wasn't an issue for us as we were out but a friend who was poorly and had to stay at the hotel to recover didn't have it) and there was a perfume launch in the bar downstairs one might and the noise was vibrating the room till midnight. Staff didn't care. Spa and pool facilities were expensive and not accessible all the time. Needed flip flops which was not mentioned to us before arrival and were expensive to buy

Liked: A per night I paid for £230 approximate
Disliked: While the hotel itself was comfortable, I was very disappointed with the unclear and inconsistently enforced pool rules. It was never mentioned during booking that children can only use the swimming pool between 8am and 12pm. This restriction should have been clearly stated in the booking policy.Additionally, there were no signs or prior information about a requirement to wear slippers to access the pool. Upon arrival, I was told I had to purchase slippers for myself and my 6-year-old child. When I agreed, the staff informed me they didn’t have slippers in my child’s size, and I had to sign a waiver to take full responsibility for her walking barefoot. To make matters worse, the next day my husband noticed another family—appearing to be European—at the pool barefoot without any issue from the staff. This inconsistency was concerning and made us feel that we may have been treated unfairly. This experience left us feeling quite uncomfortable, and I hope the hotel will address the lack of clear communication and apply rules fairly to all guests.

Liked: Was very surprised to find luxurious setup, pool and spa onsite, restaurant was lovely, outstanding service, little shop onsite too, gorgeous bed, lovely pillows, decent hairdryer, good bathroom, decent breakfast
Disliked: Bacon was pretend, disappointing and unnecessary (especially in Ramadan, when those who care wouldn't be eating anyway!)
