Fine for a short stay...

Liked: The pool was nice and the room was satisfactory for the three nights we were there.It is easy to walk into the centre of Cairns from here - 10 mins to the train station and 25 mins to the marina for boat trips.
Disliked: No bedside lamps (have to ask for one at reception).

Liked: Distance from the esplanade, the pool and the staff.
Disliked: The beds, were hard.

Good budget hotel with breakfast...

Liked: Comfortable bed, good breakfast, close to harbor for snorkeling trips.
Disliked: Very noisy due to metal doors and gates. OK during quiet hours.

Great staff, convenient location.

Liked: The breakfast was very good, but get there early, the space is very small and gets busy.
Disliked: It’s a bit dated.
