Liked: I didn't like everything. The property is a dump. I went into the room and left to look for another hotel. I asked for a refund and they didn't give it to me. Absurd. I didn't use it.

Good

Liked: It's a small place, not a lot of other tourists. The pool was beautiful and clean.
Disliked: The place was older, only 2 out of 4 worked in the master, and staff mostly could not communicate with me. Lamps were the only lighting in the rooms, and one of them didn't even work.

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel is in a nice area, close to the beach and there is a pool. The room is clean and there is a balcony.

Met Our Needs but Make...

Liked: The Coral Reef at Key Biscayne is an excellent location for visiting Key Biscayne. This is a three story apartment building with a nice pool in the inner courtyard. Plenty of parking available. Numerous restaurants nearby. It has beach access within a 5 minute walk (keyed gate to access path to beach). Kingsize bed was comfortable. The onsite manager Roberto was very helpful.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the only elevator serving the complex was out of commission so we had to lug all our luggage, cooler, valuables, etc., up the stairs. Difficult given the heat and humidity of Key Biscayne. The air conditioning in the apartment was excellent on the living floor. Unfortunately, it has difficulty reaching the upper floor where the bed is located so that was about 10 degrees warmer. We had to request extra towels and bathmats. No paper hand towels in the kitchen.

Liked: No breakfast. Location is excellent. Private beach access is very good/comfortable/secure, we love it.
Disliked: 1- Room Cleaning was deficient, the sofa @ living room has an open cookie package behind the back of the sofa, means that before we got in for the stay no one when thru the sanitary details. 2- Sunday afternoon we were @ pool, my 14 years old grandson jumped into a water a couple of times and the guy in charge took the boy attention in a nasty way, yelling and threatening about closing the pool.....I didn't address it to him due to he was busy assisting a group of people, but as employee, he must watch the way they speak with clients, specially with kids. Very dessapointed & sad.

Liked: I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and extremely kind to us — they made us feel welcome at all times and really went out of their way to help. Their warm attitude made a big difference and created a great atmosphere. While the facilities are a bit dated and could use some updates, everything was clean and worked fine. Overall, the excellent service and hospitality more than made up for that. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.
