Disliked: Rude reception staff, long wait to check-in, smelly room, very dated decor/furnishings & basic breakfast.

It was OK.

Liked: My room was nice and the room was not noisy despite being close to a railway track.
Disliked: Breakfast. The food was not very good and most of it was not very warm.

Very comfortable and great location

Liked: We were in a very large room, to which we were upgraded for free (thank you, Copthorne Tara!). It was on one of the top floors, with stunning views all the way to the London Eye, the Shard… The room was very well equipped, with plenty of storage space, iron and ironing board, etc, as was the bathroom.
Disliked: The decor is slightly tired in certain bits, but only slightly!

I would not recommend booking...

Liked: Decent breakfast. They eventually allowed us to move room to an accessible room but, it wasn't fit for purpose so we were going back to a standard room. Then after several complaints, they gave us an upgrade themselves.
Disliked: Staff were very difficult to deal with via the booking.com app, on the phone and in person. They wouldn't let us change room although I made several requests for an accessible room for my disabled mum which was not in the options but came up in the filters in the app. We got to London, I called to check if our room was was ready so I could take my mum somewhere else instead of waiting around, but they would not say and said we had to go to the hotel to check. When we arrived, they said it was not available and would not give an accessible room although plenty were available. They did not cooperate until I raised complaints of the accessible room and took photos. It was unclean had horrible, damp and musty smell and looked like it was not being taken care of. The phone was not working either so a disabled person couldn't request room service or help. One of the guys at reception became rude when I asked for water which should have been in our room but wasn't.

Disliked: The property was okay however when asking a question at the customer service the attendant just shrugged me off and said check in there.
