Disliked: I used to enjoy staying here for work, but hotel appears to be understaffed. Check in takes forever now. Cleanliness levels have definitely also dropped. I moved the little table in my room and a half eaten beef rib was on the floor :-(My last two visits the Aircon wasnt working properly which is the main reason I book this hotel. Its a good price for sure and location is great but the management have become complacent I think and service has deteriorated.

Liked: WE visit the RAH and this is a good location for that
Disliked: The room was upgraded from Standard but had no more facilities, indeed there was no bedside light on one side. The bathroom decoration was poor.

Liked: The beds were very comfy and the breakfast was substantial with a very varied selection of foods. I liked the late checkout (noon) and the easy check-in and check-out. Great too that it was an easy stroll to the underground station at High Street Kensington.
Disliked: The bedroom decor was very dated and shabby. The fridge was noisy and the hairdryer didn’t work.

Rooms are very tired and...

Liked: It was handy for the Royal Albert Hall which we needed to get to on Monday night, walking distance so very handy.
Disliked: Rooms where very tired, telephone in room 531 says 318? toilet does not flush waste away. we had to use the bin and fill it up with water just to get paper to go down. and the cable out the back of the tv was ripped out had to get the service man to visit when we got back to the room and noticed this at 11.00 pm

Excellent for Albert Hall

Disliked: Noise from train line.
