lovely river views hotel was clean and tidy

Liked: Great location to train station and concert hall.
Disliked: Air conditioner wasn't providing cool air so the room was hot and stuffy. Out dated taps; shower stiff to turn on.

Good but not great

Liked: Lobby was nice, dining area was good. RoomWas nice although bathroom was a little dated.
Disliked: Noise from the trains ended 11.30 and started at 5am. Bars on 5th floor kind spoilt the view a littleSome nice staff but others seemed uninterested

Exceptional

Liked: Big room.Great shower and bath.Control tour own room cleaning.Public areas are great.Nice and quiet.River View.Walk to town really short.
Disliked: All good really.No complaints.Room had it all.Maybe pillows could have been firmer but I'm clutching at straws here.

A great place to stay...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel was great for me. Staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated that it was no outside guests after midnight so the rooms and corridors were quiet. Also, the view of the river from the room was amazing!
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like, the room and service was great.

Would deffo go again

Liked: We expected continental breakfast but it was full English buffet breakfast.The bed was super comfy and so was the pillows and a lovely big room with seats overlooking the tyne.Received vouchers for a free drink in the bar

Short and very sweet

Liked: The location is a prime reason for us using the Copthorne. Easy access to the city and theatres. Plus the hotel is very comfortable and is very competitive in its pricing policy - and it does lovely breakfasts!
Disliked: On this short stay, there was nothing else that we needed.
