Standard not as expected.

Liked: Good location. Beds comfortable & water for the bath was extremely hot. Nice view over the lake. Cold water is located in reception. Nice touch.
Disliked: Having stayed in a lot of different standards of hotel, I would not say this is a luxury 4* hotel as described. Reception staff were not the most welcoming, shabby paint work in many places. Took nearly an hour & a half to receive extra pillows when I asked. Unfortunately, we were unable to put the light on next to the bed switch, but it did not work. Lights were obviously wired up by a trainee. The fridge did not work, the water from the tap was colder than my water in the fridge. Tea & coffee was not topped up. I have come to expect better from this hotel chain & this hotel was a disappointment, I'm afraid.
