Very good
Disliked: Room was very loud at night from exterior machines (air con units), so not easy to sleep.

Great stay
Liked: Big room, spacious. Comfy beds
Disliked: Hotel is old so has a musty smell in corridors, other than that nothing

Disliked: Room was not as we expected. Bathroom was not very clean. Otherwise its not bad for short stay for the price.

QUIET....
Liked: Great Room, plenty of space, nice venue
Disliked: Car Park charge of 5 for an empty car park. Hotels own Covid questionnaire and interrogation requiring papers to be shown which goes beyond anything I have had to fill in before(demeaning). Had to fill in Breakfast order(for a continental breakfast),..which had to be collected in a paper bag exposed at reception on departure. Requests totally ignored, meaning most of breakfast was thrown away because it had dairy in it. Pathetic offerings too, Even 10 was too much for this service station/festival nose bag. Reception tried to charge me twice for it as well, luckily I had my own papers to confirm I had already paid for their meagre offering

Covid safe hotel
Liked: Covid meant that I walked down to pick up my pre ordered breakfast on a tray from the bar area at my pre allotted time. I had a call to my room to say it would be ready in a few minutes, a very cheery voice at the other end of the phone. Unfortunately, the breakfast was pretty inedible. It was already cold, the mushrooms tasted of soap and the bacon looked like it was well past its date. The toast was wrapped in clingfilm and had already gone soggy. Day 2 I was hopeful for better. Thankfully it was nice and hot and everything was fresh, but I had been given no cutlery to eat it with. thankfully I had bought my own spoon so ate it with that .The toast was the same as the previous day. Day one the milk was from the little uht pots and the following morning it was fresh milk. I must admit I was a little disappointed but I should have called to explain my issues, but I was in a rush and wouldnt have had time to wait for replacements anyway. I decided I was going to mention it as I checked out but had to leave my key on the desk as there was no one on reception.
Disliked: Obviously it felt a little eery, being pretty much closed due to Covid, I didnt see or hear a soul while I was there, but was overall grateful to have a room for 2 nights whilst on a training course. I was impressed with the Covid safe measures the hotel had in place

Liked: Staff very helpful, breakfast fine.
