Copthorne Aberdeen Hotel

We were at HMT for panto, so our stay at the Copthorne made a lovely end to our stay in Aberdeen.

Liked: Beds were so comfy; room was clean; welcoming staff were execllent.
Disliked: None.

Uncomfortable, hot, and basic -...

Liked: Did the job pretty well considering I was there for the night. Staff were all nice and compliant although I didn't eat there the facilities seemed pretty fit for purpose and did the job, £60 for a twin room for a night was pretty decent also. They had free wifi too which was nice.
Disliked: SOOO uncomfortable. Windows barely opened, hot and stuffy, had to have a fan blasting the whole night. Matress was no better than sleeping of the floor and the pillows felt like they were made from industrial grade steel. Really hope that tap water in the bathroom was drinkable because I used it in the kettle to make a coffee that morning and filled my water bottle with it also. Hotel looks very depressing on the outside but so does the rest of Aberdeen honestly so can't blame them.

Liked: The staff were so friendly and helpful . The room was warm and spacious and the hotel is only a few minutes walk into the centre of Aberdeen

Liked: Was very clean and friendly staff
Disliked: Bus load of people and cases standing in reception area and wouldn’t move when tried to get my key, meal was very slow but bar staff was very nice and very apologetic
