Copthorne Aberdeen Hotel

We were at HMT for panto, so our stay at the Copthorne made a lovely end to our stay in Aberdeen.

Liked: Beds were so comfy; room was clean; welcoming staff were execllent.
Disliked: None.

Liked: Central location. Nice clean hotel, bed very comfy. Reception, bar, breakfast room, corridors all clean. Breakfast good.
Disliked: Nothing really. There was a wedding on the night we stayed however we were told this on check-in and told our room was above function room and we couldn’t request a change because of how room was booked. My daughter checked us in so I’m not quite sure what this meant, but all was quiet at 1am once function finished.

Disliked: Breakfast - no eggs, apart from scrambled, no porridge, limited selection of cereals, fruit compote was still frozen, no marmalade - disppointing. Received a phone call from reception shortly after checking in to say we had underpaid by 10p. She requested that we come to reception and pay it, when we went to reception in the morning we said we were due to pay 10p. The male receptionist looked at our info and couldn't see anything - bit random!!! We have stayed at the Copthorne several times and was disappointed by the service this time.
