Another lovely stay!

Liked: I love the decor. The renovation has been lovely. The fish tanks were there when I first visited 10 years ago but they remain beautiful and my son loved seeing them for the first time.
Disliked: The food is delicious but a little pricey.

Liked: The room was spotless. It was beautifully done. Bed and pillows comfortable. The room had everything we needed.The breakfast was alright. English breakfast was ok but I didn´t get croissants as it would take a while for them to be ready. The pool was great too. My daughter enjoyed every moment of that.
Disliked: The TV need to be up grated.

Disliked: Was quite noisy in corridors up until midnight. Lots of children running around but it was Easter. Also children in the adults only bar ?

Disappointing

Liked: I liked how clean the room was.
Disliked: Restaurant and bar were closed on the day we came with no mention of that on the phone or when we checked in. The Jacuzzi was closed.

Not worth the price paid,...

Liked: We booked this hotel over the bank holiday weekend for a three-night stay. Initially, we were thrilled about our upcoming trip. The online pictures looked promising, and it seemed like a child-friendly establishment with ample facilities.
Disliked: However, upon arrival, we were met with extreme disappointment. The reception area appeared modern, but our room was far from it. It was outdated, with holes in the walls, broken drawers, and peeling wood on the bedside table. The bedside table lamps were non-functional, plunging the room into darkness. We had paid a significant amount for this hotel, feeling deceived as the online pictures starkly contrasted with the room’s condition.The breakfast service was equally disappointing. It was highly disorganised and offered a severely limited spread, which is typical for budget hotels. We had to repeatedly flag down staff to request basic items like tea, coffee, and a high chair. Additionally, we could hear other guests complaining about the long waiting times. The situation was frustrating, as it felt like we were being ignored by staff who seemed overwhelmed and disorganised.The pool area was further neglected, with the floor dirty and the jacuzzi out of order. The pool water was also salty. Everything appeared to be in a state of disrepair and poor maintenance.Regrettably, we would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

Great Hotel, facilities and staff

Liked: Great hotel and facilities. Room was a brilliant size for our family of 5. Staff were really friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning.

Surprisingly better than expected stay,...

Liked: The chalet style building was lovely. The reception and lounge area is set out beautifully, lots of seating, open and welcoming and the chairs and sofas very comfortable. Great atmosphere, lots of families and friendly vibes. The staff were superb, honestly could not rate them high enough. They were so kind to me and my kids and went above and beyond to accommodate our request for early check in, they were attentive, understanding and kept us updated. The room was great and up-to-date, better than we expected. Breakfast was very good, we enjoyed the selection and the croissants were delicious and buttery. The restaurant staff were friendly and professional which was great. The bar staff were also great and so were the staff at the pool. In fact all the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The beds were a little disappointing. The single bed was uncomfortable for my son, his feet were dangling over the edge so he didn't rest well. The double bed that my daughter and I shared was fine, no complaints. Perhaps 2 double beds would have been better. Also the jacuzzi wasn't working from Sunday, through no fault of the hotel's. The staff member at the pool sign-in desk explained the issue on Monday morning and it was an unforeseen issue that the engineers couldn't resolve on the spot as it involved ordering a part. Such a shame!
