Lovely hotel. Would definitely stay...

Liked: The room was comfortable and quiet.  Great location.  Walking distance to South Melbourne Markets, cafés etc.  Easy public transport into the city and beyond.  Hotel and Restaurant staff were all very helpful.  The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent.  Really enjoyed having a sunset drink and food at the rooftop bar.  It had a great view of the city.

Lovely hotel and great location

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant and bar, great location on south side of Melbourne, walkable to Albert Park and easy to take a tram into the city or the cool St Kilda. If you like walking, the city, botanical gardens, museums and St Kilda can be reached on foot if you plan long walks.
Disliked: There was no breakfast other than some individual cereal packets and one-person milk cartons in the room mini-bar. The details for this hotel had shown that breakfast was available - but this was not the case. We were advised to go to the cafe up the road, which offered good breakfasts.
