Disliked: We were overcharged for our stay, we were promised a partial refund & haven’t heard from anyoneImpossible to speak to any representative at Coogee apartment, all the tel numbers on their contact sheet are unobtainable

Liked: I liked everything, super clean and comfortable apartment, soft and fragrant bed, everything very new and modern, garage for my motorcycle, great location, close to the super exclusive beach, I highly recommend it, good and cheap together

Disliked: Everything was too small and cramped. Only one washing machine working for the entire building. No hot water for 4 days

Liked: Had no hot water for the last 4 days. Apartment is as big as a shoe box. I’m 5’7 and my legs hung off the end of the tiny bed. Could barely even fit in the shower it was that small. Will not be staying here again.

Disliked: Felt like student digs. Didn’t like the way the door of room was straight onto outside corridor. Didn’t feel safe as female solo traveller even though I know the area is fairly safe. Is alarm in room that just made it feel even more unnerving. Not given warning about room to be cleaned when it came up to the week’s stay. Couldn’t allow someone to come in at the time they wanted. Not offered alternative and I had to reach out to make sure it got cleaned. Which had to wait until after the weekend and 3 days later. In meantime, although I kept as clean as possible, there was a problem with large cockroaches in the room. I would come back to them in the room at night. Large gap under the main door where they were able to come in. Even when room was cleaned the toilet was not touched. Sink tiny in bathroom. Very difficult to use the way the taps were located. No coffee maker in room. Was told there was a kettle and coffee sachets. In this day and age I expect a coffee machine/ coffee press of some sort. Surprised even though they don’t clean the rooms more than once a week that they don’t come to collect rubbish every few days.
