Bad choice

Liked: Leaving the Hotel. even skipped the breakfast that was meant to be included in the price.
Disliked: Terrible experience. Not welcoming at all. Wouldn't recommend. Room not clean. TV didn't work. Zero sleep for the whole family due to an event in the function room, playing loud music til early hours. Thought we would try the bar area, staff turned the lights off immediately after we were served. No music. Shocking atmosphere. Broken glass everywhere outside in the car park.

Disliked: EverythingCar park was chargeable 3 pound although I'm not sure this was true because we validated the car and the man at reception asked for 3 pound cash. The room was disgusting. Bed was ripped. Bathroom filthy. Still had last personas hair bobbles on the side table. Bulbs missing from lights. Walls filthy and marks everywhere curtains didn't close. And hundreds of kids in the car park messing about near the cars Worst experience ever. Left within 5 minutes could never have stayed there.worst experience ever.

Liked: The room was big for a family of 4 and it was surprisingly clean. But there was a lot of noise due to the wedding party that was taking place just behind our bedroom.
Disliked: Location was far from everything especially Sheffield city centre. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had although on the website it states breakfast is included when we arrived we were informed it wasn't included. I had to show the old man at the reception on my booking that it was included. Also parking was stated as free on the website but again the old man was going to charge me £3, I had to show him on my booking email that it stated free. What I found is that the lady that prepared breakfast wasn't friendly at all, she barely spoke to us , in fact she was pushing for us to have cold breakfast, cereal and cold milk. The English breakfast she made looked like vomit, cold and microwaved. She should not be allowed in the kitchen at all. The information about breakfast and parking is what is making this Hotel have negative reviews because it's not consistent, all they care about is extra charges instead of fixing the problems customers keep raising. The hotel is the village they shouldn't be charging for parking and breakfast in my opinion. Listen to your customers or else you will continue receiving bad feedback.
