Lovely place near Vondelpark

Liked: Nice room with bright-pastel colours, quirky fun decor and accessories. We really loved the electric kettle!Spacious and comfortable room.Excellent coffee in the room - real ground coffee to drip into cup, rather than instant. This was really great every morning!All staff was very nice and helpful - even small things like offered glasses with ice when we bought some fizzy water. We would not really have thought to ask. No problems with the bathroom or shower. Very clean. Shower is typical italian type, with a small ledge. We had zero flooding. We stayed on the top floor, with a very large terrace with chairs & table, and a lovely city view.The hotel is on the western end of Vondelpark. Good location to walk through and enjoy the park everyday, close to museum square, close to the old west for restaurants. Further from city centre generally - so it's a good walk if that's your target.
Disliked: Would recommend:- to add milk/creamer in the rooms to complement the coffee. We didn't mind, as we just bought it from AH.- there is no fridge in the room. Would be a great addition to the rooms to keep fruit, perishables etc. Bed and pillows were a bit too soft for us. But this is a personal preference as we like quite firmer mattress and pillows.Showers have slightly lower pressure than typical for northern europe. But nothing to complain about really. Explained clearly as a water-conserving initiative.

Liked: Clean rooms, friendly and flexible staff, able to accommodate my friends and I who travelled a long way.
Disliked: Honestly cannot think of anything

Liked: amazing location with all the restaurants and tram stops close. love the pink and plants everywhere. breakfast was delicious, getting coconut yogurt and banana chips at the grocery store now
Disliked: i think the bathroom fans need to be cleaned, bit of a weird burn-y smell when they turn on. other than that, no complaints
