Definitely worth a (re)visit!

Liked: Such a wonderful hotel! Great location by super scenic fjord and marina, room was comfortable, spacious, and totally quiet, and the spa was incredible. The building from 1902 (ish) is full of history and architectural charm from that time period, but everything seems fully renovated and in top condition, so really the best of both worlds. Breakfast was great, although not the largest variety of items (but more than enough for 2 days). Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The evening restaurant had a very limited menu so eating there more than 2 nights would not have been interesting, and it was very expensive. The bed in the room was two single beds pushed together with a thin top mattress to join them - not a big issue but strange choice for a suite.

Disliked: It was extremely messy, dirty and crowded.Spa was extremely dirty with poor/almost no service. Overcrowded and super unorganized. There was no employee to attend, no one was checking if people in the Spa are actually guests. Basically anyone at any time could just walk inside without any control.Our room was stinky and bathroom was unbearable. Cafe/restaurant was terribly unorganized and messy. For a burger at lunch time, we were waiting almost 1 hour for the food to come, (even though we were the only guests there), and we had to wait for 20 mins for the staff to be back at the cashier so that we can pay! They brought excuses that they cannot charge us and put it on the room, we had to go back to the room to fetch the wallet to pay. They charged us wrongly with the drinks wed never ordered! Then again we needed to wait 20 mins more so that they fix it.On the day we were checking out, we realized that for that burger which we had paid by card, they charged the room as well!! Of course when we mentioned, they updated the bill for our stay and asked for the card to Return the money.And guess what! Instead of Returning the money they charged us again! So now we are double charged mistakenly, making calls to the hotel to claim back our money.Im so happy that we did not stay more than 3 nights there, it was absolute nightmare and super unpleasant.

Beautiful location for a quick stop.

Liked: The Comwell is a 5 star but it doesn't really feel like it in the room. The facilities are very limited. Maybe it depends on what you're used to. The location is beautiful, you are in the middle of nature just next to a beautiful bay which you can directly walk to from the hotel.
Disliked: Room facilities. Amenities that you are used to from other 5 star hotels are not provided here.

Liked: The Comwell is a 5 star but it doesn't really feel like it in the room. The facilities are very limited. Maybe it depends on what you're used to. The location is beautiful, you are in the middle of nature just next to a beautiful bay which you can directly walk to from the hotel.

Staff is sub optimal, definitely needs to improve

Liked: The facilities are great and the spa area is amazing.
Disliked: The staff is regrettably not matching the excellency of the property. When you pay this much for accommodation you expect a certain level of treatment, and this hotel does not offer that. We had an issue with the staff in the spa area removing bath robes that had all of our belongings (and other peoples as well) and nearly breaking eye glasses and damaging mobile phones in the process. Then when they were confronted with their mistake they had a really bad attitude, hinting it was our fault and that we shouldnt have left the robes unattended. Breakfast buffet is ok, but could be better.

Was planned as a chilly stay - sadly was not fully achieved

Liked: Location, buildings, surroundings, view
Disliked: Saturday evening outdoor spa party of 30+ icehockey federation guys directly in front of our room till 23:30 - would not recommend a stay in main building over the weekend.
