Liked: Jane was a lovely host, friendly and engaging. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and very good quality.
Disliked: Room a tad small and dated, needed a refurb, but the property is ideally situated in the town centre.

Disliked: We were really upset to find the room was unclean.brown marks on the furniture, skirting boards, doors and frames. The kettle was very dirty.A dirty and damp cleaning cloth left on the chair. The rug felt sticky and was very dusty.We knew from reviews this would be a cheap and cheerful stay, however it was not clean nor very cheerful. We left early as we didn't feel comfortable. We attempted to speak to the owner but she was not present unfortunately. Sad our very rare child free anniversary weekend was ruined :(

Great value for money, great...

Liked: Breakfast was really nice, the hostess was very accommodating to our dietary requirements, room was very cosy and everything worked. Location was great as there were many pubs, shops and restaurants very close by. Private parking was nice.
Disliked: Lot of roadworks in the area, but not a massive issue. The method for the private parking was not explained properly beforehand, this could have been sorted by Booking.com more efficiently so guests are better informed before arrival.

Liked: Half way stop to our destination.
Disliked: Cleanliness dusty everywhere. Needs a good make over paint work etc. very old needs updating. Underneath bed very dirty.
