Compass Cove

By far our favorite resort...

Liked: Everyone was helpful and welcoming! All of the pools and slides on the property was perfect for my kids! Rooms were very clean and comfortable
Disliked: We loved everything! The parking is the only small issue but it's no big deal

Liked: I loved the pools. Easy access to everything. Most of the staff was friendly.
Disliked: Hated parking garage. Dirty pillow cases and mattress, no blankets for pullout bed, night shift was rude, no one brought clean wash cloths although asked at the door for them

Liked: Room had a very strong mold odor immediately after walking in. Visible Mildew and Mold on walls and furniture. The spout in shower broke off. This was an ocean front room so we left the sliding glass door open to help with smell but we were afraid to put anything down on furniture because of the visible mold that was everywhere. We were in the schooner or mariner building on the 4th floor. I have stayed at Compass Cove multiple times but never had It in this type of shape.
Disliked: The amenities are great but the rooms need upgrading and deep cleaning or someone is going to get sick.

Disliked: I felt uncomfortable because I found a flea in my bed.

Accommodations were good but parking...

Liked: The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The room was clean and very nice. The restaurants were very good and staff there was very nice and friendly as well. The gift shop was amazing and had a little of everything to offer. Very good quality items were purchased there as well.
Disliked: The parking was terrible. For the size facility this is the parking was not ample for guest nor the ways to get back to the ground floor. I have a bad knee and had to climb steps inside of a "escape route" on the parking decks. There are not enough elevators for a building that size as well. We waited on an elevator for 45 mins just to get to the ground level. This made the relaxing trip we had experience we had enjoyed go to hell quickly. The area to load and unload your cars had parked cars in them and people just standing talking and we are waiting for another 30 mins to just get our car loaded. Someone needs to be managing these areas since it is such a tight area to get around in anyway. By the time we left my husband and I were super stressed just trying to leave. The waiting area was hot and we were miserable. So no we will not be staying at your location again if we can help it. It was a wonderful trip that turned bad quickly.
