Liked: The staff were extremely welcoming, the offered turn down service at the end of the night whilst we were out for dinner. Complimentary breakfast at Post was the cherry on top of the service, the food was excellent. In terms of the bedroom, it far exceeded our expectations. The shower was magnificent and my only wish was that i stayed longer.

Beautiful rooms, nice staff but...

Liked: Room was beautiful, modern, large and very clean.
Disliked: Lighting in corridor’s was virtually non existent, had to use our phone torch to use the key for the door. Biggest issue was the hotel had no integrated restaurant or bar. Breakfast felt like you were eating in a train station with no priority for hotel guests and an extremely noisy environment, due to the public gathering for coffee and food. Dirty tables and seats. Not close to a 5 star standard by any means. Food however was good.Doors locked at night, so you could only use the main entrance, if you understood the layout you’d know that makes no sense, as there were multiple entrances.

55th wedding anniversary - a...

Liked: We were upgraded to a fabulous room with balcony overlooking the Cathedral grounds and view of Perth Council House. Spacious room, great shower and deep bath with beautiful amenities and great fluffy towels and big wrap around bath robe. The small jars with cashews, chocolate covered nuts and shortbread were very welcome. It was very peaceful and I was advised that occupancy was 80-85% but you could believe that you were the only people in the hotel - great soundproofing etc. It was hot outside but the temperature in the building was beautifully cool - not cold due to overpowering air-conditioning but pleasantly cool. Great gym lots of excellent equipment.Very central to visit places around the city or if you prefer to stay in and relax!
Disliked: The lightening in the passage ways is very subdued and made walking on the, in places, uneven floor a bit difficult for my husband who is experiencing some eye problems. Valet parking price is a bit on the high side.
