Comfort Suites Tallahassee Capitol - University Area

We were very, very pleased with this Comfort Suites. The price, the cleanliness, the friendly service and the complimentary breakfast are the reasons we gave it a rating of 5. We definitely will be staying here again and tell our friends about it. Thank you!

Disappointing!

Liked: The pool and location.
Disliked: This hotel has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it is their employees that brings this hotel down. The hotel staff seems very disterested in helping their guests. We stayed for 9 nights and our room was only cleaned twice and we had to beg for it. Requested housekeeping multiple times, was promised by front desk that it will be done but upon returning to our room after a whole day spent outside we discovered that housekeeping did not do our room. Reported to the General Manager and Operational Manager of the hotel however they kept ignoring our requests. We chose staying in a hotel over staying in an Airbnb because of the housekeeping service. We won't be staying here again. They need to re-train their employees including their managers. Our room and the whole building smelled moldy too. Hopefully corperate is reading this review.

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: The rooms smelled musty. The carpet was very dirty. There was no hot water in the shower. No room service was provided because apparently it had to be requested, and this had not been communicated at check-in. The lady at the reception was always on her personal phone, seemed very demotivated to do her job and had no customer service skills. The swimming pool was very dirty.

Rude staff. Never again.

Disliked: Staff is rude. Manager was not helpful and tried to look the other way when I was insulted by the cleaning lady. She was rude, said many bad words and kicked my door twice in order to let me know it was checkout time. Very aggressive behavior. At front desk they practically laughed at my face.

Liked: Staff was pleasant, and seemed to try hard.. just an old motel. Due to FSU graduation, we paid $500 a night.. and forsure didn't like that.
Disliked: Rooms are outdated, and no matter how hard they try, the cleaning staff can't imporve old furniture and worn carpet
