Comfort Suites San Clemente Beach

Was very nice; loved the room.

Liked: Free breakfast 7-10 a.m. - very nice; 24 hour fitness room; great service.

Never again!

Liked: The location was close to the beach.
Disliked: My room smelled like mildew, as well as the hallways of the 1st and 2nd floor. There was a leak in the laundry room and the carpet was soaked in water the entire weekend we were there. Breakfast was not good. They had the same undercooked potatoes and ham, every day. Not tasty at all! Their waffle machine didn't work. The staff didn't have any customer service and had terrible hygiene. They had one roll of toilet paper that was already used at the time of check in and gave us a hard time when we asked for more.Overall I do not recommend this comfort inn & suites!

Disliked: Definitely tell the owners do not allocate money towards maintenance and cleanliness.

Watch every step you take...

Liked: The size of the room wasn’t bad at all. Parking was good. People that worked there were fine.
Disliked: Where do i start? The place has horrible walls and doors. The locks hardly work. The back door is so broken you have to lift the handle for it to lock and even after that it makes no seal so you can hear everything outside that door perfectly. There’s a hole in the ground where they pulled out a palm tree that my 4 year old son fell into and got hurt. Smelled horribly of pot in the hallways. Stare well had mystery water on the floor making it a severe trip hazard going up the stairs. Huge pee stain in the mattress. It was absolutely the worst

Liked: Was well greeted on arrival and was checked in early. Very respectful room was exceptionally clean. Returning back for sure.
