The Comfort Suites hotel is located off Interstate 85, walking distance from historic downtown Salisbury, featuring a variety of shops and boutiques. Area attractions include Catawba College, Livingstone College, Charlotte Motor Speedway and the North Carolina Transportation Museum. The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is about 45 miles away. Reed Gold Mine State Historic Site, Bank of America Stadium and the Charlotte Coliseum are less than an hour away. A variety of restaurants and lounges can be found in the surrounding area, including several close to the hotel. Free hot breakfast is provided and for the guests that are leaving early, a breakfast bag is available for the two hours prior to breakfast. Guests can also enjoy the free local calls, exercise room and seasonal outdoor pool. In the lobby there is 24-hour coffee and fresh popcorn. Disliked: Was able to write my name in the dust in the room. Asked for more towels. Only had pool towels. Fitness room had dust webs lol

I don’t recommend staying here.

Liked: Positive: The bed was reasonably comfortable. Warm cookies were served in the lobby the evening we arrived.
Disliked: I could hear everything from other rooms and the hallway. The elevator made ping noises every few seconds similar to the sound a phone makes when it begins charging) throughout my stay despite no one being in the elevator. Staff were nice but not overly welcome or friendly.The breakfast: I’m not sure how you make a flavorless waffle but they were successful. The sausage link was hard and didn’t taste anything like sausage. I stopped eating there.The floor in the room was uneven, high and low parts. The bathroom was outdated.
