Very decent place to stay...

Liked: Good location, with some quiet areas at the back of the property (Portland College). Absolutely walking distance. Spacious rooms, clean. A pool and little gym. Good value for the money.
Disliked: Of course like all hotels in the US, apart from the very expensive, the breakfast is not really edible. Too much sweet stuff, no real bread or cheese or ham.

Liked: It was conveniently located. The beds were comfortable, and the hot tub and pool was a great way to unwind after a long days travel.
Disliked: The wall paper seem to be peel at every place you looked.

Liked: Bathroom was clean at least, good breakfast, staff addressed problems and needs quickly. The housekeeper tucked in my daughter's teddies I thought that was cute.
Disliked: How do I even start. Apun arrival I immediately noticed the lobby was small and dingy part of the wall was coming apart behind the desk it just didn't look nice especially as a first impression. I get to our room and look around first I see that a bench that was broken and duct taped back together.. just kind of tacky, the couch was dingy and dirty looking same with the curtains but what really upset me was the crusty yellow stains on the top of the bedding and literal pubic hair on the inside wrinkly sheet. I suspect that it wasn't changed and just made up from the previous guest (a common lazy housekeeper trick as I am a former housekeeper) also the literal food dried on the wall next to the coffee pot the filthy pool area (I noticed a bandaid on the floor next to the hot tub on Monday and it was still there Thursday despite me telling the front) bandaids on the ground in front of the elevator. Filthy handprints on elevator. It's unfortunate because the staff was kind and the area and the building not being maintained I could get over but they definitely need new housekeeping staff because the place was filthy parts of the building weren't even being touched such as the pool area which really should be being maintained every single day. I wouldn't stay here again I was disappointed that I couldn't get a refund and go find another hotel.
