Comfort Suites Palm Desert, Palm Desert

We stayed here earlier in the year and enjoyed our stay. On our way home to Arizona, we decided to stay here again because of the cost and service.

Liked: Cooling off in the pool.
Disliked: Nothing was bad.

The wind out there blows so hard sometimes alot, so someone on staff on ground daily needs the job of EVERY MORNING vacuuming the dirt from the bottom of the settled pool, at least it will allow people to use it. This is a must and I spoke with others through my stay that felt the same way and were also bothered by the fact that it hasn’t been swept, until the day I checked out. This is the only problem I saw.

Liked: Everything was great; rooms great; cleanliness great; breakfast great; staff great.
Disliked: The pool and jacuzzi.

A great place conveniently situated...

Liked: Great location, bed was very comfortable, quiet, clean, many places to eat and a Stater Bros. Supermarket across the way. The hotel is right off the 10 frw. And if you take Washington St. In the opposite direction of the Comfort Suites, you will pass several restaurants, Applebee's, In n Out, Pollo Loco. And many, many more! On the left, about 3 miles in, you will find the LA Quinta movie theatre. And it's $6.00 all day on Tuesdays. Lot's of shopping in that area! Just in case you're looking for something to do! The Acrisure Arena concert hall is super close to the comfort Suites. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: If I'm being picky, the room I stayed in was fairly dated and needs a new sitting area. The freezer in the fridge could not freeze a 6oz. Cup of Ben n Jerry's ice cream. For 3 days it remained melted. OK, pool area was nice, but just needed a little more care. Last, the day I left, I was not feeling well. I sat in the lobby area to just relax a minute. I am disabled and walk with a walker. I could not carry my bags and asked for assistance to my car. There was minimal help, and the front desk person, rather than sending someone, asked the cleaning lady "why?" does she need help? The lady said ," she does not feel well", oh, and I'm disabled! It took a minute, but someone came and was very courteous and kind and assisted me. The same man that came to my door to let me know it was time to exit the hotel.

Liked: Room was big with a separate seating area. Good basic breakfast included.

Exceptional

Comfortable stay with good service,...

Liked: The bed was very comfy, the t.v and cable t.v works perfect, people are kind.
Disliked: Breakfast is not good. They promote one bedroom with a couch that could be used as another bed but it doesn't look very clean.
