Liked: The location was perfect for us. The rooms were decent.
Disliked: We arrived at the hotel and settled into our room, then headed out to the store. Unfortunately, when we came back, we found ourselves locked out for about an hour! We went to the front desk, and they kindly gave us new room cards, but those didn’t work either. They had to call maintenance, who was working between two hotels, so we had a little wait. The front desk lady seemed a bit stressed, but we understood it can get busy!That night, we tried to use the hairdryer, but it didn’t work (I really should have brought mine from home!). We also attempted to pop some popcorn in the microwave, but the plate wouldn’t turn, so we had to keep an eye on it. We didn’t make a fuss about it, though!The next day, when we got back to the hotel, we ran into a little snag again—our key didn’t work! We couldn’t even get in through the side door or our room. My husband went to let the front desk know, and the lady there asked if we were keeping the card near our phone. My husband explained that my daughter had my phone all day and the card was safely in his wallet. She reprogrammed the cards for us, although her response seemed a bit exasperated. On a brighter note, the breakfast had some decent options, and a lovely lady was taking care of everyone. Overall, if you don’t let the little hiccups get to you, it’s a pretty good place to stay!
