Exceptional

Liked: Beautiful clean, bright hotel in every area I visited. The room was spotless, I used the extra bedding from the closet, and it smelled fresh. The breakfast was well-stocked and clean, and the hotel worker in the kitchen area was so kind and made a point to greet me.
Disliked: Nothing, loved it

It was a nice hotel...

Liked: It was very nice and well kept. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly
Disliked: The bathroom was very nasty Toilet leaked and behind it the wall was black from mold

Liked: Most staff was friendly and tried to make sure everything was taken care of
Disliked: First floor room we were placed in was extremely humid carpet was wet walls floor bedding couch and all wood in room was wet. I personally did the splits in the bathroom bc the floor was so wet and slippery. Asked front desk for a dehumidifier. Didn't have one so they moved us to a different room. Ac in that room worked but set on 60 felt like 74 all night.

Liked: This hotel was not clean smelled like cats and you know soon as you walked in. I’ll never stay there again

Overall good

Liked: This is my 2nd time to use Comfort Inn. The 1st time was 7 years ago in a different state which was really good. I like that they have breakfast which is very important to me and my family.
Disliked: The bathroom could have been cleaner.

It was a place to...

Liked: It was close to where I needed to go for my meetings.
Disliked: The ice machine was out of order. I had to go down to the first floor and walk to the end of the hall to get ice. I didn’t know I needed to ask for the room to be cleaned. I also didn’t know I needed to ask for a safe to store my valuable. The breakfasts were not what I expected, there was very little to chose from.

Lake Geneva is a fantastic...

Liked: Indoor pool, perfect for hot weather when there are thunderstorms outside. Although this inn was clearly built in the last century, good maintenance and great housekeeping show. Updated technology, including free fast wi-fi (two of us, 2 phones, 2 tablets/streaming, 1 laptop- no buffering) room fridge, room microwave keep it relevant. Big roomy parking lot and easy access too. Room amenities and an amazing night desk contributed to making this an impressive experience.
Disliked: Crossing Route#50 on foot is scary. It is only one mile to walk to the lakefront, but we didn't want to risk crossing. A couple of in town events had a shuttle come through (too hot to walk anyway) - that might be helpful, along with a light or marked pedestrian crosswalk. We drove.

Ok, but pricey for area...

Liked: Shoestring budget breakfast
Disliked: Rooms weren't ready at 3. Giving one room, wasn't ready, given a 2nd room, and they were making the beds still. No hand wash clothes.

Even a motel 6 could...

Liked: The location was good for what we were staying in town for.
Disliked: Our room was filthy upon arrival with multiple aspects of the room just straight up BROKEN. Even the smoke detector was HANGING FROM THE CEILING. Food all over the floor and under the beds, dirty towels in the bathroom, the air vent in the bathroom didn’t work so you just know there’s mold in there somewhere. The pull out mattress had a huge disgusting stain on it. The dresser drawers were broken and half sticking out, the table/desk was sticky, there were USED TISSUES shoved in the tissue box in the bathroom, the chair in the room was frayed and coming apart, one of the lamps didn’t work, and vinyl was peeling off almost all of the furniture. The swimming pool was okay however my daughter stepped on an earring in the pool and got it stuck in her foot suggesting the same lack of effort used in the rooms applies to the care of the pool. When I brought all of this to the staffs attention I was given a free late night check out but told nothing more could be done for us besides “possibly a free dinner” on the hotel. I paid over a grand to stay here for 4 nights 5 days and was so disappointed.
