Liked: Location is great, staff was friendly.
Disliked: Rooms were worn and a bit run down. Outlets didn?t work well, too loose to hold a plug and the in room safe didn?t work.

Liked: I booked two nights a month before my trip on booking.com. When I arrived I was charged for one night. I received a bill under my door. When I checked out I was then charged for two nights. Even though I had previously paid for one night. Upon talking with staff I was treated very rudely and got no satisfaction from the conversation. I was told it would take hem ten days to refund my money and that I was a rude customer and that I should not come back to their facilities. I have been using booking. Com for years and never have I had this problem. So disappointing. Patricia Parr

GREAT HOTEL CLOSE TO PURDUE

Probably won't stay here again...
Liked: The breakfast was very good--well prepared with attentive staff.
Disliked: Generally the staff was great. The head housekeeper, Dawn, tried her best to rid our room of a rather unique odor. We declined to change rooms as we were tired. We did have an unfortunate run in with the front desk clerk the day of our check out. We'd asked for a wakeup call the day before and did not receive it. As a results, we missed our first appointment--a once in a lifetime opportunity, also. When my husband stopped at the desk to complain the next day, the young lady at the desk was VERY defensive, had a hard time to stop talking about how it wasn't her fault, that she'd told the manager, and then told my husband, "You can leave the property NOW"! He suggested she could use some customer recovery skills--where she LISTENS carefully (rather than talk over the complainer!) verifies the problem, and asks what she could do to help. And certainly shouldn't order the customer off the property because he complained! (He didn't explain customer recovery to her, obviously, because she was so upset that she complained to everytone within ear shot! (I was over by the coffee listening to the entire exchange and the ensueing complaints to co-workers!) Comments such as "why didn't they complain yesterday!" Because we were running LATE, after not being awakened perhaps???
