Stay in your car instead.
Disliked: The bed was horrible. We did not sleep at all. The mattress was so worn out that it was more of a bowl. A sleepless night for the low price of $140.00. I should have slept in my vehicle.

We will return to this...
Liked: The room was better than five star hotel rooms we stayed in. The staff was as accommodating as they could be. The kitchen staff knew how to cook eggs. The scrambled eggs for marvelous. The bacon and Waffles were excellent as well. We were Marvelously surprised and totally satisfied with our study.
Disliked: Not a thing.

Liked: I am a pretty picky consumer, and this and my other reviews will confirm that. For that reason, I typically stick to two hotel brands when I travel (and Choice Hotels isn't on that list). I was therefore skeptical of booking at a Comfort Suites. This was our first stay on a 14 day road trip, and by the end of the trip, Comfort Suites (and Choice Hotels in general) had become my new go-to lodging preference! The Jonesboro location set the tone in every way. Check-in with a reservation was as easy as could be. I reserved the King Suite. The room was laid out spaciously, and the entire place was very clean. There were plenty of accessible outlets so that my wife and I could both charge our personal electronic devices and power our CPAP machines. The hallway was very quiet throughout the night even though there were two large family reunions taking place during our stay. We both slept comfortably enough in spite of the worn-out mattress (see things I didn't like for details). Breakfast was included, had a wide variety of options, and tasted great. I had scrambled eggs (which I believe were real--not powdered--and if you can't tell the difference, it really doesn't matter), sausage, a waffle and yogurt. I love to mix cranberry juice with orange juice, so I was happy to see both available here. I drank the regular coffee as well which was not bitter and was just strong enough to feed my caffeine addiction. After breakfast, I prepared my travel thermos to go. Overall, Comfort Suites, Jonesboro exceeded my expectations.
Disliked: The mattress was rutted with a body-shaped grove on each sides of the king-sized bed. This mattress has, no doubt, already put in its paperwork to retire, but was refused. After the late hours attempt to use the Business Center, I actually slept better than I thought I would on this worn-out mattress. So, yeah, I tried to use the "Business Center" computers. One of two computer stations was unserviceable (and there is no privacy wall between the two anyway). The "serviceable" computer was being utilized by children watching YouTube videos. There is a sign that says that children must be accompanied by an adult, but the rule is not enforced. Upon asking, I was granted extended hours to use the computer, so I returned later--hoping the kids were no longer there. The computers have proprietary software that severely limits the functionality of basic applications (like the installed Chrome browser). For example, I tried to plot the next day's route on Google Maps from within the untenable software prison that Choice Hotels has fabricated (on Chrome--which was limited to a single tab). As soon as I plotted my third waypoint, I got an Out of Memory Error--and the entire computer had to be rebooted. This happened three times, and then I gave up. This is where the staff on duty missed the mark (and the sole hit against excellent ratings for this location). When I tried to explain the situation to the desk agent, he took offense--like I was blaming him personally. he went further to say that it's not his fault--implying that I'm not discussing the issue with the right party. I explained to him that that logo on his shirt means that I am addressing the correct party--what he chooses to do with the information is on him. I doubt he did anything with it, so I brought the issue up again in the morning with a different agent--with moderately better results. When booking this room, the photos include a glimpse of a Jacuzzi tub.
