Friendly staff and beautiful hotel...

Liked: The hotel itself was clean. The main breakfast options were rotated which we really liked and there was a good variety of breakfast items to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The room itself was beautiful however, our room had a musty smell upon entering. No big deal though we opened up the window assuming the room wasn’t utilized lately. Unfortunately there was also a strong urine smell next to the end table on one of the bed sides which we could over look if we slept on the other side the bed. My kids found a perfume bottle near the couch which isn’t too big of a deal but tells me that the room was checked over quickly and not fully cleaned. However, the toilet had urine on the back of the toilet behind the seat and one of the bed duvets had like crusted throw up or snot on it which wasn’t discovered until the next morning meaning we slept in the bed with it. Mortified, it was brought to the attention of the staff and the manager promptly inspected the bedding, apologized, and brought new linens. Unfortunately the hotel was booked up so we could not switch rooms at the time. Additionally, the pool had way over maximum capacity of people in it to where my kids couldn’t swim or play safely in the pool.
