Its central location makes it an excellent base for exploring the city on foot or by public transit.The room was spacious and comfortable, offering more space than is typical for downtown hotels. Guests consistently highlight the generous room size, noting that it adds significantly to the comfort of the stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room included all the necessary amenities for a convenient stay.Overall, Comfort Suites Downtown is a great choice for travelers looking for a central location with large, clean rooms at a reasonable price. While the building is slightly dated and rooms facing Crescent Street may experience some noise due to the nightlife, the convenience of the location and the comfort of the accommodations make it a solid option for both leisure and business visitors.
Disliked: One aspect of the stay that was disappointing was the interaction with the young woman at the front desk. She was not very polite and came across as somewhat dismissive, which made the check-in experience less welcoming than expected. Her tone lacked warmth and attentiveness, which stood out given the otherwise friendly atmosphere of the hotel. In contrast, the male staff members at the front desk were extremely courteous and helpful. They were attentive, respectful, and went out of their way to assist with questions and requests, which helped balance the overall experience.

Liked: Location was good, very walkable to downtown Montreal
Disliked: Starting with the parking situation, hotel falsely advertised that parking is included. Valet costs $40 so my family and I were left wandering around for parking in a downtown location. Room looked like someone was murdered all over. Carpeting was putred! There’s no cleaning that, it HAS to be replaced for it’s a health hazard. Mattress was stained beneath the musty bedsheets and so were the walls, doors and curtains. My family and I were unfortunately cornered into staying by their no cancellations policy. Now I see why, everyone would cancel the first 5 seconds!
